During a time the ecosystem needed a spark of hope, BONK was created by a small group of Solana builders right after FTX collapse in December 2022. BONK launched with one mission: bring back energy, liquidity, and positivity to Solana.
One of the most defining moments of BONK's origin was its massive airdrop, where more than 50% of the supply was given directly to the community: NFT holders, developers, artists, and builders. It wasn't just another token launch; it was a movement built on rewarding those who are adding value and sharing the vision with them.
